- Arctic ice is rapidly decreasing and it is estimated that by 2040 or sooner that the region will be an ice free zone
- The average temperature of the world has increased by 0.8 degrees Celsius. That may not seem alot, but it still has a huge impact on the world
- Recently there has been a increase of wild fires, heat waves, and strong tropical winds
- The events that most effect the environment are: Industrialization's, deforestation, and pollution.
- The people are pouring more dangerous gases in to the atmosphere faster then the plants and oceans can absorb
- These gases stay in the atmosphere for years so even if we stopped all greenhouse emissions global warming would not stop immediately

Alternative ideas
Another way of conserving fossil fuels are using alternative fuels, such as: biodiesel. Biodiesel is a renewable resource that we can get from vegatables oils and the fat from animals. So instead of using fossil fuels to run our cars we can use biodiesel which is less harmful for our environment.
